A man and a woman sit dangerously on the bonnet of a MOVING car after an apparent financial spat with the driver in northern China.

In the video, filmed on January 5 in Lanzhou City in Gansu Province, a man on the car bonnet smashes the windscreen of the moving car in an attempt to persuade the driver to stop.

But when the driver brazenly continues to drive on, the man on the bonnet even pauses to smoke a cigarette while the woman watches on.

Police eventually stopped the car and arrested the driver.

The case is still being investigated.
