Chris Joannides claimed the Facebook shot of a woman and a child in burkas holding the bags was “blokish banter” between pals.
But he has been suspended from the party and faces a criminal probe after a complaint was made to police.
A caption under the picture read: “I told her she had three beautiful children.
"She didn’t have to get p***** off and threaten me. It was an honest mistake!”"
